List of Halo: Reach Medals

Medals are preset rewards or bonuses given in Halo: Reach's Campaign, Multiplayer and Firefight modes, when players perform specific actions. These usually involving the killing of enemies or rival players. There are a total of 113 medals in the game, or 114 if the beta only medal is counted, and a total of 118 medal images existing on Bungie.net.

Weapon spree medals are much easier to achieve in Halo: Reach than they were in Halo 3 or ODST. While in previous games the medals required consecutive kills to receive the medal (i.e. five consecutive kills with the sniper rifle, shotgun, sword etc.) the player now only needs to score five, ten and fifteen kills without dying.

In addition, multi-kill medals are also handed out much more readily. In Halo 3: ODST a player only receives a single medal per multi-kill (i.e. achieving four kills awards an Overkill medal), however in Reach the game awards all of the lower multi-kill medals as well (i.e. four kills results in an Overkill, Triple Kill and a Double Kill medal).

	Bulltrue	Kill an opponent that is in the act of a sword lunge.
	Splatter	Hit and kill an opponent with your vehicle.
	Hijack	Board a land-based vehicle by forcibly removing the opponent in it.
	Skyjack	Board an aircraft by forcibly removing the opponent in it.
	Kill from the Grave	Kill an opponent after you have died.
	Laser Kill	Kill an opponent by using the Spartan Laser.
	Sniper Kill	Get a headshot with a sniper weapon.
	Grenade Stick	Kill an opponent by sticking them with a plasma grenade.
	Pummel	Hit and kill an opponent with a melee attack.
	Beat Down	Hit and kill an opponent with a melee attack from behind.
	Assassin	Kill an opponent by performing an assassination.
	Showstopper	Kill an opponent while they are performing an assassination.
	Yoink	Kill an enemy player while they are being assassinated.
	Wheelman	Be the driver of a vehicle when a passenger kills an opponent.
	Needle Combine Kill	Score a kill by filling an opponent with enough needles to cause a detonation.
	EMP Kill	Remove an opponent's shield with an EMP blast.
	Assist	Assist a teammate in killing an enemy.
	Close Call	Kill an opponent while you are weakened and without a shield and survive.
	Rejection	Activate Armour Lock and survive massive damage.
	Revenge	Kill the opponent responsible for your previous death.
	Avenger	Avenge a teammate's death.
	Protector	Save a teammate by killing his foe.
	Headshot	Kill an enemy with a headshot.
	Headcase	Kill a sprinting opponent with a headshot.
	Pull	Kill a jetpacking opponent.
	Firebird	Kill an enemy while you're jet-packing.
	First Strike	Earn the first kill of a match.
	Reload This!	Kill an opponent while they are reloading. (replaces "Opportunist" medal)
	Oddball Kill	Get a melee kill while swinging the oddball.
	Flag Kill	Kill an opponent with a melee attack using a flag.
	Killjoy	End an opponent's killing spree.
Objective Medals
	Hail to the King	Kill 5 opponents in a row from inside the hill before it moves.
	Bomb Planted	Plant the bomb in an Assault game.
	Flag Score	Complete a scoring flag capture in a Capture the Flag game.
	Killed Oddball Carrier	Killed the opponent Oddball carrier in Oddball.
	Killed Bomb Carrier	Killed an opponent bomb carrier in Assault.
	Killed Flag Carrier	Killed the opponent flag carrier in a Capture the Flag game.
	Killed Juggernaut	Killed the Juggernaut in a Juggernaut game.
	Last Man Standing	Be the last human in an infection game.
Bungie.net Medals
	Triple Double	Finish a game with double-digit kills, assists and headshots.
	H. Ryan Memorial	Kill wildlife in a campaign mission.
	Big Game Hunter	Get the highest point kill of all players in a co-op campaign or firefight session.
	Avenge Me	You were avenged by a teammate.
	Bros to the End	You were saved by a teammate.
	Seek and Destroy	Kill the Ranger-class elite.
	Funkadelic	Play a game with Pestilence enabled for all players.
	Party Animal	Play a game with Birthday Party enabled for all players.
	Love Machine	Get 7 kills in a matchmaking game against players who have Heart Attack enabled.
	Wildcat Destabilizer	Destroy a generator with the help of your team in a firefight session.
	Ennobled	Finish a Campaign mission with four players on Legendary difficulty.
	Thank the Maker	Win a match when a Bungie employee is on the other team in matchmaking or custom game.
	Linktacular	Play in a matchmade game composed of all Bungie.net users.
	Steaktacular	Your team won and your opponents have less than 60% of your team's score when score to win is at least 50.
Beta Only Medals
	Opportunist	Kill an opponent while they are reloading. (Replaced by the "Reload This!" medal)
