Liquid Development is a video game development studio based in Portland, Oregon in the USA. The company's goal is not to develop its own games, but rather to assist publishers developing their own games. Thus, the job of Liquid Development's artists is to help the main development studios and to concretize their concept art.[1] They are specialized in 3D modeling, animation and 2D production.

The studio has been working on various video games such as Borderlands, Mass Effect 2, Killzone 2, Fable II, Fallout 3, Kinect Adventures! and many more. In May 2011, Liquid Development eventually came to help 343 Industries developing Halo 4.[2] A team composed of Royal Sybrandt, Mark von Borstel, Tony Clark, Patrick Sutton, Kevin Atkins and Josh Harvey was tasked to model and texture the multiplayer armors featured in the game.[3] Liquid Development also developed a number of multiplayer armors for Halo 5: Guardians.[4]
