The Laden was an independent Parabola-class freighter, associated with the Eridanus rebels. Its registry number was F-0980W.[1]
Laden was a simple freighter with routes in the Outer Colonies and was captained by a rebel officer thought to have been killed during Operation: TREBUCHET.[2] In 2525, several SPARTAN-IIs secretly boarded the Laden and on the Eridanus II space docks as the ship was leaving for a routine recertification of its engines.[2] They later fulfilled a mission to capture Colonel Robert Watts, the leader of the Eridanus rebels, inside of the Eridanus Secundus rebel base, located in the Eridanus asteroid belt, after the Laden inadvertently ferried them there.[3]
