Koa wood is a type of wood. It was used in Vice Admiral Ysionris Jeromi's desk on UNSC Hopeful and was said to have "gleamed like gold under the light of a single brass lamp." [1]
Trivia[edit]
It is likely that the koa wood is derived from the acacia koa, a species of plant native to the Hawaiian islands.
