The Joyride Series 5 was manufactured by Joyride Studios. They were released around August 2004. All of the figures are based off the characters and objects from Halo: Combat Evolved.[1]
Campaign
Elite
The Gold Elite figure was made after the Zealots in the game. It is armed with an Energy Sword and features a different head mold from the past Elite figures.
It was known to have been perhaps one of the rarest figures to be produced.

Grunt
The Red Grunt action figure is off of the Major Grunts in the game. It is armed with a Needler and a Plasma Pistol.

Flood
The Flood action figures include two figures: a Carrier Form and an Infection Form. It was the first Flood form made.

Multiplayer
Black Spartan
The Black Spartan figure is a multiplayer Spartan in black Mark V armor. It includes a Shotgun, a Rocket Launcher, and a Plasma Pistol.

Labeling
On each action figure unit, Joyride has included a serial number, which allows you to find out when the action figure was created. The date code has four numbers followed by 'SS' actually stamped or embossed in the cardboard. The first three digits are the date the product was made, and the fourth digit is the year. For example: 2653SS means the product was manufactured on the 265th day of 2003 (9/23/2003).[2]
