Interstellar jump point

An interstellar jump point, abbreviated IJP, is a point in space, usually around a planet or star system, that provides superior conditions for entering and exiting Slipstream Space.[1]

As of 2552, Epsilon Eridani's superior IJP had been the most active Slipspace transfer zone (including arrivals and departures) for over thirty years, with Epsilon Eridani's inferior IJP and Sol's superior IJP regularly trading second and third place.[1]
