November 2009[edit]

Votes[edit]

  • Jugus - Has been a dedicated and active contributor this month, with plenty of good-quality edits, vandalism reverts and article cleanup. Nìcmávr (Tálk) 17:46, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
  • Jugus - OF COURSE. - JEA13 [iTalk] 18:46, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
  • Jugus - One of the most active users I see on everyday. --   General5 7    talk    contribs    email   21:32, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
  • Galacticdominator - I changed my mind, because I see GD more often than Jugus, undoing much vandalism and useless edits. --   General5 7    talk    contribs    email   21:47, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
  • Jugus He is the best choice!--Strider658369398 22:01, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
  • Jugus A far better editor. Galacticdominator seems to have a problem with multiple edits, despite being warned twice by Subtank. Not exactly what you want to see in a HOTM.--Rusty-UserWiki:Rusty-112|112]] 22:27, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
  • Nicmavr A great user who has been very helpful to the community. All his edits are actually good, and he is really friendly.--Shade 00:12, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
  • Jugus Always seems to be editing every time i'm on Halopedia, and I haven't seen any bad edits from him. SNOR{3} 14:09, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
  • Nicmavr As per Shade Link. He also helped devise the anti-spam/flood bot on #halopedia, and has proven to be a responsible channel operator. Granted, as I try my best not to take this as a subjective point of view, I don't see much of the other users, and I understand that that is probably my fault. --User:Blemo/Sig
  • Nicmavr As per Blemo and Shade Link, has proven himself many times, and is a great contributor. CoH/Member List#Field Masters|Field]] UoH/Member List#Colonel|Master]] Spartansniper450 18:52, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
  • Jugus - For the second time, I change my choice, this time back to Jugus. He has been a loyal user to Halopedia. I can't blame him for not being as active now, because the school year is back on. :P And this time, I will not change my choice. --   General5 7    talk    contribs    email   18:55, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
  • Nicmavr - Good edits, great at spotting and reporting vandalism, and an all around cool guy to know. Colonel DA, Halopedian Administrator 20:56, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
  • Jugus - Splendid user to work with and wonderful contributions like DavidJCobb. Also, seeing that Nicmavr was voted as HOTM of July...- 5əb'7aŋk(7alk) 21:00, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
  • Nicmavr - I love you Nicmavr!! Erm... in a brotherly way... XD Kougermasters (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 03:23, October 5, 2009 (UTC)
  • Jugus - As per Subtank. Spirit of Fire 10:31, October 5, 2009 (UTC)
  • Jugus - Despite my burning desire to make this month's vote "interesting", I just can't ignore the massive volume of his contributions. And who knew he's only been around since March 09? Seems much longer. - Halo-343 (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 11:07, October 5, 2009 (UTC)
  • Jugus - He is an incredibly good editor, and he definitely deserves it. --T 3 UserWiki:Thunderstream328|2]] 8 16:09, October 5, 2009 (UTC)
  • Jugus - Nicmavr already earned it, only CT and his mighty cabal there is no cabal can haz twice. Ghost sangheili
  • Jugus - A user of his quality needs no reason for HOTM. Wr1ghty 06:45, October 6, 2009 (UTC)
  • Nicmavr - He does good work, keeping stuff up to date, and consistent with the MOS, and is an examplary member overall.--Jugus 06:57, October 6, 2009 (UTC)
  • Nicmavr - While Jugus my contribute frequently, he sometimes does it too frequently, and as has been previously mentioned, he has been reprimanded multiple times. Nicmavr consistantly produces quality edits, and keeps an apparently high standard. --We are dropping into Hell troopers, cause you forgot to pray to God! 12:59, October 6, 2009 (UTC)
  • Jugus - A fine user and has "ADMIN" material written all over his edits. CommanderTony
  • Jugus-Jugus does great work around halopedia and i am sure he will continue doing that in the years to come.--Halo3legend 23:18, October 6, 2009 (UTC)halo3legend

*Nicmavr he corrected me when i was doing silly mistakes --Heroicpotatoe 17:16, October 7, 2009 (UTC)

User lacks required edits. - Halo-343 (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 21:03, October 7, 2009 (UTC)

Comments[edit]

Jugus certainly got off to a good start. I suppose that's what happens: Someone sees a good user, votes for them, people see that vote, got no reason to vote for anyone else, they follow suit. Let's wait for someone to break the chain, make things interesting. - Halo-343 (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 21:43, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

yes, but i said the same ting last month, its to early to tell my friend --Strider658369398 22:04, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

Didn't I say that? :P --   General5 7    talk    contribs    email   22:06, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
Yes u did =P --Strider658369398 20:10, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
You sort of said that, but in a lot more subtle and less blunt manner than myself. - Halo-343 (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 22:39, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

Jugus had been active since June. Back then, DavidJCobb had not started his editing rampage yet. I personally have nominated him once already, but seeing that almost nobody knew about his existence -hence why nobody voted for him- I did not nominate him again. I'm happy Nicmavr noticed him at last. But what really concerns me is the nominators' real motives; why would one nominate Thunderstream last month (no offense)? I won't compare him to Jugus. I will just say that Jugus was far more active than him. As was Galacticdominator, sure! Thunderstream had just become active for a month or so, he needed some time to get on with things.

General, you say that Jugus' activity has decreased little bit; that's right. But you know what? When all you guys voted me in August and I won, I had done literally nothing. 'twas just because I had already been nominated once, in February, when I had around 50 edits a day, and in August some remembered about me again/I was one of the last veterans not to have it. You could have done the same thing with Jugus last month, with the only exception that he was still active then, while I wasn't when I won.

Halo-343: Jugus, as I said above, has been editing like hell for some months. He didn't "get off" now. See what I mean when I say "nobody knew about his existence"? - JEA13 [iTalk] 08:03, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

I most certainly knew of his existence, like 60% of the images on the site have been uploaded by Jugus. He certainly deserves the award, but I'm waiting for things to get interesting before I consider voting. And can you get the award twice? Because Nicmavr has been HOTM before. Halo-343 (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 09:23, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, of course you can, CommanderTony has won it twice. And if you think Jugus deserves it, vote for him. You shouldn't wait for things to get interesting... - JEA13 [iTalk] 13:09, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
But things aren't interesting if things aren't interesting! - Halo-343 (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 13:57, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
Well then, you make them interesting by nominating a fourth user! :% - JEA13 [iTalk] 14:02, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

To be honest, I disagree with the fact Jugus's activity has "decreased recently". In my opinion, he's been one of the most active editors within the past 2 months I've seen. Go back 500 edits in his contribs, you'll only get back to mid September. Even now I see him making many edits per day. Definitely a user worthy of recognition. - Nìcmávr (Tálk) 21:11, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

Exactly. --T 3 UserWiki:Thunderstream328|2]] 8 16:09, October 5, 2009 (UTC)

I'm hiring a squad of cheerleaders for Nicmavr!! Gooooo Nicmavr! Actually, I'm thinking of a cheer ^.^ And Halo-343, nice signature! Reminds me of something ;) Kougermasters (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 01:10, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

My signature was at your suggestion! At least mine has a bit of colour to it. - Halo-343 (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 06:37, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

E-flirting, omg ^__^ - JEA13 [iTalk] 11:30, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
Please, Kouger and General, take this to a private chat board or something. Sounds like Shakespere misquotes. - Halo-343 (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 15:19, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
Shakespeare misquotes? No, I'm showing my true affection. You're just jealous, Halo-343. Kougermasters (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 18:59, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
Yes, Kouger, that's exactly it, but as much as I would love to continue this riveting conversation of you and General showing your "true affection", it should stop, as soon enough an admin will spot this whole thing and get all "stop-topic-against-guidelines" on us. - Halo-343 (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 21:03, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
Oh get a room! But, seriously, stop. It is getting off topic. Jugus is doing very well, which is great because he definitely deserves it. Sorry Nicmavr! --T 3 UserWiki:Thunderstream328|2]] 8 19:03, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
WTF... User:SoH/Sig
That's what I would say about your new huge, space wasting, weird and "too much" signature. - JEA13 [iTalk] 14:12, October 8, 2009 (UTC)
Your point? O yeah... no point. Enjoy your fine day at Halopedia! User:SoH/Sig

I think I'm going to propose Halopedian of the Fortnight. Not as catchy as Halopedian of the Month, but hey, it works. Kougermasters (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 22:41, October 22, 2009 (UTC)
Sure as hell it does :P - JEA13 [iTalk] 15:48, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

"It got quiet" :p SNOR{3} 21:00, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

In three days, the new one begins! :D -JEA13 [iTalk] 21:21, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

I kinda messed up on something...I counted 13 votes for Jugus, then after I saved, I realized I missed a vote(I must have scrolled too fast). Can someone undo it? I am not sure if you get points for doing stuff on this, so I don't want to look like I am abusing the point system.--Shade 11:56, October 31, 2009 (UTC)

Done. And no, you don't get points for editing Halopedia namespaces. Points are only earned for mainspace edits. - Nìcmávr (Tálk) 11:59, October 31, 2009 (UTC)

Should end in the next few hours. Congratulations Jugus! Kougermasters (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 08:19, November 1, 2009 (UTC)
