BCE
Before the Common Era spans all events prior to what humans refer to as the "Common Era". These times saw the rise and fall of the Precursors, the Forerunners, prehistoric humanity, and the emergence of the Flood. The seminal event of this era was the activation of the Halo Array, wiping out all sentient life in the Milky Way Galaxy. The end of this era saw the formation of the early Covenant and the emergence of humanity's classical ancient civilizations.
