Halo 2 Beta

Halo 2 Beta was a closed beta test of Halo 2 only available to Bungie and Microsoft employees along with selected external testers during July 2004.[1]
Files
The beta contained content unreferenced in any of the map files that was accessable after modding the game. This content included the mongoose (later reused in Halo 3), a human flamethrower (originally intended for Halo 1, reused in Halo 3), the Disrupter (a covenant flamethrower style weapon) and much more.
