Fireteam Shadow is an elite special operations team of four SPARTAN-IV supersoldiers. They were assigned to the UNSC Infinity and fought on the Forerunner shield world Requiem in July 2557.[1]
In February 2558, Fireteam Shadow assisted Fireteam Crimson in protecting the science team at the Refuge during the Requiem Campaign. This was accomplished by infiltrating a Covenant CRS-class light cruiser. In spite of heavy resistance, the team overloaded the ship's power core, destroying the cruiser and saving Crimson.[2] During the Requiem Campaign Fireteam Shadow tested GOBLIN-class Mjolnir,[3] but the individual members have also worn ARGUS, HELIOSKRILL, WAR MASTER, and OPERATOR-class Mjolnir.[4]
