External Camera 6-K
External Camera 6-K was the designation for one of the video recording devices equipped on the destroyer UNSC Jericho.[1] It was presumably used for tactical purposes, such as the acquisition and tracking of targets.[2] It was destroyed during the Callisto Incident in 2494 when the Jericho sustained severe structural damage.[3]
A video feed of External Camera 6-K was included in the report Historical/Psychological Analysis of Cole, Preston J., sent by Codename: SURGEON to Codename: USUAL SUSPECTS in 2552. The feed included footage of the moment a nuclear weapon detonated by the Callisto shattered an asteroid to devastating effect, leading to the destruction of the UNSC Buenos Aires and the crippling of the UNSC Las Vegas and UNSC Jericho. The feed was terminated after the camera was struck by a piece of iron-silicate rock.[4]
