Eridanus sector

The Eridanus sector is a sector of space as classified by the Unified Earth Government. The sector presumably consists of several planetary systems in the Eridanus constellation, including the Eridanus system. The Eridanus sector was the site of many battles between the United Nations Space Command and rebel factions during the Insurrection. The Freedom and Liberation Party was active in the Eridanus sector and orchestrated the nuclear bombing of the Haven arcology on Mamore in 2511, in order to underscore their demand that the Colonial Military Administration withdraw from the sector.[1]
