David Barker was a human who listened to Benjamin Giraud's Hunt the Truth audio journal in 2558. After Giraud's entries that the stories being told by the UNSC about the Master Chief history were fabricated, Barker mailed Giraud an audio email declaring his absolute trust in Chief. Barker found it astonishing that anyone would dare question the man who saved humanity, and blamed Giraud's discoveries as over-skepticism.[2]
