Dark Horse has licensed the comic book rights to many popular television and movie properties. [1]

Halo comics

In 2013, Dark Horse partnered with 343 Industries to take over publication of Halo comics. The first of these comics, Halo: Initiation, a new three-issue limited series written by Brian Reed and Marco Castiello, was released on August 14, 2013.

On December 11, 2013, the first part of Halo: Escalation, a 24-chapter series written by Christopher Schlerf, Brian Reed, and Duffy Boudreau, was published. On October 25, 2016, the graphic novel Halo: Tales from Slipspace, written by several authors, was released.

On August 30, 2017, the first part of Halo: Rise of Atriox, a five-chapter mini-series based on the Banished leader Atriox, was released.[2]

Other books

In March of 2016, Dark Horse released its own edition of Halo: Fall of Reach, collecting the three story arcs Boot Camp, Covenant, and Invasion into a trade paperback.[3]

On July 10, 2017, Dark Horse and 343 Industries announced the Halo: Adult Coloring Book as another title in Dark Horse's adult coloring book program. The Halo Coloring Book includes 45 pieces of original black and white artwork to color and will be released on October 11, 2017.[4]
