The bloody Marine.

The bloody UNSC Marine is a peculiar Marine biped model found in the Halo 2 level Cairo Station.

Walkthrough

This peculiar Marine model can be found in the loading hangar where the player encounter their first Covenant boarding party. This particular Marine stands out from the rest as he is cut, bruised and covered in blood and can only be found in this level. In addition, he is one of the few Marines that never wear headgear during the level. Other covers include the dress hat, Sergeant hat, or no hat. His overall accuracy (including grenades and rifle fire) is the same as a normal Marine. He also appears to have no pouches on his breastplate.

Trivia

• This Marine biped is voiced by John Kassir.
• The bloody UNSC Marine can also be seen on page 14 of the Art of Halo.
• Bloody UNSC Marines may have at one time been used as killed Marines. For example, in Halo 3, when a Marine is killed, their body becomes covered in blood.
