Is this really the best way to put this? Canceled perhaps, but not deleted.

Master Chief Collection and Halo 3[edit]

Is halo 3 going to be a port? if so, should we put it under the port section? --Weeping Angel (talk) 16:41, 9 June 2014 (EDT)

Not necessary. Halo 2, originally released for the Xbox, was also released for the Xbox 360 and it was not treated as a ported title.— subtank 18:56, 9 June 2014 (EDT)
The titles in the Master Chief Collection are not available individually on the Xbox One, so there's really no need to list them as individual ports outside the collection. Halo 2 Anniversary gets its own page and link in the template because it's going to be distinct from the versions available to date, but for the others, any changes will be minor enough that they can just be mentioned on existing pages.--Emblem 1.jpg Rusty-112 Admin comm 19:35, 9 June 2014 (EDT)

Table top game[edit]

Should we add this game here? Thanks, --Weeping Angel (talk) 22:18, 14 February 2015 (EST)

From what I've understood, it's a game with real figures/toys, like Halo Interactive Strategy Game or Risk Wars/Anniversary. Wherever Spartan Games' game goes, those three should go along. Imrane-117 (talk) 22:57, 14 February 2015 (EST)

Halo 5 Guardians Forge: port or expansion[edit]

Hey, guys. So I noticed that CIA391 reverted my edit in which I moved Forge – Halo 5: Guardians Edition to the "port" section from the "expansions" section. I have a couple of problems with this being listed as an expansion here, and I'd be grateful for your thoughts. The first is that I believe an expansion to be something that expands upon an existing game, whereas a port moves a game (either in part or whole) to a different platform. Halo Custom Edition is clearly an expansion. Halo 2 Vista is clearly a port. Forge – Halo 5: Guardians Edition does not add anything to Halo 5: Guardians. Instead, it takes an existing part of Halo 5: Guardians and makes it useable on the PC. This is a port.

Also, the page says it's a port, so if we decide to change it, that should be reflected on that page. Thanks, --Weeping Angel (talk) 15:36, 13 June 2016 (EDT)

Removing Halo DS[edit]

I'm removing Halo DS from the Canceled Projects list. The page itself makes it very clearly that it was never an officially developed or sanctioned project; it was, at most, a fan-made pitch. It is notable, but it's more like Halo Zero or Halo 2600, and as such it belongs on the Fan Projects template, not this one. If you disagree, discuss it here before re-adding it.--Emblem 1.jpg Rusty-112 Admin comm 23:51, 10 August 2017 (EDT)
