A tactical operations center (abbreviated "TOC"), is a mobile command center used for conducting ground operations. UNSC corvettes have a TOC located in them, which contain equipment for reconnaissance, communication, and control for units operating on the ground. Commanding Officers of larger units sometimes command special operations from a TOC, as to ONI field operatives.

One such TOC was on the UNSC Bum Rush, and was used as a command center for the battalion of Marines operating on Tribute as part of Operation: TREBUCHET in 2524.
