This is the voting thread to decide if Dab1001 should get the Admin usergroup on Halopedia. Voting will close on the 11th June 2020.

Note: Due to the voting happening at the same time BaconShelf can not vote in this process.

Support - I heavily support Dab getting Adminship. He has deffo proved himself to me that he can hold himself on Halopedia.

Support - Dab is a helpful guy who clearly conducts himself in a manner befitting of a Halopedia admin and has made many salient contributions to the wiki, chief among them from my perspective being the awesome work he's done with the Onyx skin. Halopedia has never looked better, and it's a clear demonstrator of his commitment and drive in relation to this place.

Support - I fully support Dab getting the admin position. I have worked with Dab both here and on HN and can confidently say that he is a hard worker and has made great contributions to both sites.

Support - As someone who supported Dab's nomination back on Halo Nation, he has shown to be a exemplary leader in all fields of work he put himself to. At a time where admin activity was dwindling on HN, he put in the effort to bring among change and better the wiki.

Support-Dab is a cool guy who isn't afraid of anything, including admin work on Halopedia. He is a valued member of the Grand Army of Kait Diaz.

Support - I cannot support Dab's nomination enough: As well as the various contributions other users have brought up above, he's incredibly easy to approach and always makes time to help out with any editing-related queries.

Support I've worked with Dab for a long time on both here and previously on Halo Nation. His addition to the team is the sort of growth on Halopedia we hoped for with the merger. He's hit the ground running and fit in perfectly with his fellow staff.

Support Dab is one of the only Halo Nation administrators who helped me and treated me like a person, when another admin was abusing his power. Dab is professional and friendly, he has also done a lot of work with the merge. I support him.

Support - The main area I can speak to is the technical side, and Dab has already gone above and beyond in his contributions there. Things like the Archives site, Onyx skin - so much is possible post-merger, and it's been cool to see.

Comment - While I don't qualify for a vote, I fully support Dab1001 being promoted to the Admin role on this wiki. As an admin on the Halo Nation wiki, his support for the recent merger was critical for the unification of the community and his rank should have been retained, so this would be a restorative decision.

Comment I can only comment on non-Halopedia sides of things since I'm not a regular. Dab1001 would be a valuable addition to the administration team with his knowledge on MediaWiki development (proven by the Onyx skin) and MediaWiki in general (proven by his role in Halo Wikia and templating). He is very passionate about the wiki and extremely friendly, which is always a good thing in larger wikis.
