Talk:Reclaimer Saga

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

should we have two different sections about halos 5 and 6 even though we don't know anything about them? Weeping Angel 17:46, 4 March 2012 (EST)

No, because we don't know anything about them as you stated. We don't even know if they're going to be called "Halo 5" or "Halo 6". They probably will be, but we don't condone speculation here.--Spartacus TalkContribs

OK glad i asked. I'm new here so you'll have to excuse me.Weeping Angel 17:26, 6 March 2012 (EST)

Included in "List of appearances"

Should we include this into the List of appearances section? Since we are listing media chronologically, the Reclaimer Trilogy first appeared in 2012. But how about Halo 4's sequel (second game of the trilogy)? It will probably be released in 2015. So using the list of appearances logic, a typical list of appearances section would look like:

  • Reclaimer Trilogy (2012)
    • Halo 4 (2012)
    • Second part of the trilogy (2015)
    • Final part of the trilogy (2018)
  • Maybe a Halo novel (late 2012)
  • Probably a Halo comic series (2013)
  • How about a Halo flash game (early 2014)
  • They might have another anthology like Evolutions (late 2014)
  • Perhaps a viral campaign for the second part of trilogy (2015)

See my point? —S331 Bubbleshieldhud.svg(COMMission LogProfile) 21:36, 24 September 2012 (EDT)

Yeah, I see and agree with your point. Same should go with the Kilo-Five Trilogy and the Forerunner Trilogy.--Spartacus, Halopedia Administrator Talk 21:52, 24 September 2012 (EDT)
I like how I didn't need to point out what I meant. XD In case anyone is wondering, having a media that spans over more than a couple of years will disrupt the chronological order in the section. If there isn't any objection, I will start removing Reclaimer Trilogy from all List of appearances section. —S331 Bubbleshieldhud.svg(COMMission LogProfile) 09:06, 26 September 2012 (EDT)
That's fine with me.--Spartacus, Halopedia Administrator Talk 09:46, 26 September 2012 (EDT)

Reclaimer Saga

It wasn't first called the Reclaimer Saga on June 21, 2013. This video [1] (sorry about that link, but it's from a Wikia administrator!) is from September 29, 2013, well before Halo 4 was even out, and Kiki Wolfkill mentions that the team has switched from calling it a trilogy to referring it as the "Reclaimer Saga". I may be mistaken, but I also remember another developer calling it that and there being a large discussion about it on the Halo Waypoint forums (once again, months and months before June of 2013). Just food for thought.
