Just to let you know, Halo Waypoint has the Halo: Reach File Browser up on their website now.

Your welcome man. Glad you appreciate the summary. I know it'll have to be shortened so I'll work on doing that. In the meantime I took your suggestion and archived it under my talk page: Talk:Killamint#Glasslands Summary. Don't know if this link will work here (probably not) but either way its under my user talk page.

Take a look at this. This explains way better than I could and it's also quite interesting. Subtank posted it on Talk:Precursor.

Hey, I finally managed to figure out how to take screenshots in my MacBook Pro of Halo: Combat Evolved. It's so simple really, I didn't even realize how simple: Cmd-Shift-3. Thanks for the advice! Btw, your other bits of advice I could not carry out, for reasons that are classified. But just wanted to let you know, and to thank you. Thanks.

Pretty much, yeah. Not sure why it isn't working, maybe it is because I should be playing in a window? idk, really need help.

Vegerot. Roosterteeth is not false. True, the three new achievements were not there initially. They were released with the Anniversary map pack, but FOR the Defiant Map Pack, as each achievement's page clearly states. Check your Xbox - the achievement descriptions clearly state "Defiant:"

Regarding previous message: Never mind, forget it. Of course, you are busy with school, so just forget it all. I have almost everything necessary for my next few contributions. You're off the hook! :)

Hey, just a quick status update, I have the screenshot of the M45 Tactical Shotgun, and the M247H HMG from Kronos101. All I need from you is the Fusion Core and the M90 CAWS Shotgun from Halo 3, whenever you're able to do it.

Okay. Don't know if I can, but I certainly try. If not, I think I can wait a little while longer. And by a little I mean as long as necessary for you to have the time to do it. In the meantime, I'll keep an eye on Halo Nation in case I get lucky, or I'll just keep exercising and working on Adobe Illustrator, and reading and everything else. No worries.

I don't know if you ever got around to checking my user talk page, as you have not replied to my latest question. The essence of the question is, do you think you have the time, or can you make time to get those screenshots on the weekend, or weekends? Please respond as soon as you can.

By that I assume you mean responding to your previous post? Sorry, I didn't notice it at the time and had since forgotten about it.

There's not much to say since I mostly agree - adapting and using Forerunner technology for a while would be likely to hinder humanity's innovation capabilities, but like you said that's not likely to happen anytime soon. It's also a matter of how the new technologies change their society and culture, and vice versa; something that is completely unpredictable.

It should also be noted that there is a difference between how humans and San 'Shyuum regard Forerunner technology. For the San 'Shyuum, they were holy relics, though they were nonetheless allowed to tinker with and reverse-engineer them. However, their reverence for the technology may have caused them to hold back and tread more carefully when attempting to actually improve the relics they found. The tech was a major contributor to making them more dependent, but there was also the religious angle.

The humans, on the other hand, see it solely as technology, so there's really nothing holding them back from changing or improving Forerunner technologies once they start understanding them. Then there's also humanity's "natural" understanding of Forerunner technology, which may well be the result of a geas, which I assume might also allow them to adapt to Forerunner tech faster than other species.

As for the Forerunners being "already at the top", I wouldn't quite say that. They were advanced, but they still had room for improvement. For one, they were still at Tier 1 and there's still one tier after that - and a lot of room in between. Not to mention they would have likely improved further if they hadn't wiped themselves out - Cryptum states their technology still kept advancing, even if it happened at a slower rate.

Hey Vegerot, when are you going to deliver on those screenshots I wanted on my talk page? You said you'd get on it "tonight or tomorrow". You haven't done it yet. What's going on?

Hey, man, next time you go on a "screenshot extravaganza", please check my talk page when you get the chance! I just updated it with two new images I need but cannot find anywhere else to edit in Photoshop. Hopefully this isn't too much to ask...

Any idea what Anubis means by "look at the friggin hip, please"? I don't see a sniper rifle anywhere. All I can confirm is that Fred must be the guy pointing, because he's giving orders.

Actually, it now is a civil war, since we installed a new government. We were just there afterwards to support it. The Russian Civil War wasn't just faught by the Russian peoples; the United States and Britain still sent people over to help the White Army. But, yeah - Iraq's not that great an example.

You could have taken my advice that i've told you quite a few times in the past and come to me instead of doing things your own way.

OS X 10.6.8, AKA Snow Leopard. I also run Windows 7 with parallels when needed. Why do you ask?
