Hey there, if you still have access to this account I request that you see the thread here! It is in regards to your account activity being low since 2019.

Do you want to be made a Patroller in the off-chance you want to help out here and there, something similar to Spartacus where he just pops by to help, but not in a full capacity way at all? Just asking so we can make the relevant arrangements. :) Regardless I wish you the best, and hope you still pop by now and then to say hey.

Hey man, thanks for the reply. I understand now, and I agree with it. Oh, and for the Unggoy clip, indeed. I also agree on it. As you said, it could have any meaning. Once again, thanks for replying. I love Halopedia. - Draft227

I'm not sure if you can, but I think the Unggoy sample audio would look better if they were stacked vertically in the page. Right now it intrudes into the text too much, at least on my comp.

Yeah I wondered about that too, but when I saw the additions to the Jul 'Mdama's faction rank table incorporating these new (or old) ranks from the original Covenant, I decided to follow up with mentions in the appropriate ranks of their involvement in the Battle of Installation 03. Also, the opening mission Assault Ops make mention of the old ranks (Unggoy Minors, Sangheili Majors etc). I really wish that even with engine/resource limitations, they would have labelled them as Storm Unggoy, Sangheili Commanders instead, to keep with the established ranks of Jul's Covenant. As this didn't happen I was merely working with what I saw.

I don't think it was intended that the ship had a button on the bridge that would cloak the ship. My understanding with the way the entry is worded was that the supercarrier brought the materiel that could cloak the fleet, namely the Spires, and that despite its 28km size it was capable of being 'masked' by the Spires as well. I was never left with the impression the ship had its own means or rendering itself invisible. Just that it contained equipment up to the task of masking the fleet.

I definitely agree, and what you described has actually been part of our quote page layout guide for some time. I've been meaning to add quote pages for major factions (UNSC, Insurrectionists, Covenant, etc.) just for quotes like this.

I would imagine so, but it was not something that 343i or Bungie ever arrived at. The fact that there was a female look and voice option in the game was to allow players to pick their preference. It was always Bungie's and 343i's intent that fictionally, Noble Six was officially a male so the other data would be irrelevant. Female Six is just a gameplay concession. We brought it up during discussion on the Visual Guide, but as far as the story is concerned, Noble Six is a man.

Pages like Warthog will never be deleted, i know. But that's not the point... The redirects I fix make the site faster, why?

When I click a link, there goes a ping to the server. When I click on a redirect page this are 2 pings: One for each page. By "cutting away the middle man" everything speeds up and the server is happy ! :-D

This doesn't sound like much, but condiser how many people on this site click on links every second...

And about your sandcastle metaphor: When you make sure all links to Warthog are directed to the right page, it's easy to redirect any new links. True, you need to keep a close eye on that, but that's where the community comes in ;-)

Why was it on there in the first place? RED FLAG operational requirements only stated that the Pillar of Autumn's Spartan detachment were to be involved in combat deployments. Sure, the cruiser's shipboard Marine contingent would have provided support, but there's nothing in canon to suggest otherwise.

So, remind me again why ya'll had a pointless three-day debate when you could simply refer to canon.

Well first off, the template is useless as we almost never use the "(level)" part after a page name. Second, if a page is ever moved to a different name then it causes all of the links using levelname to that page to turn into red-links, which is bad. All the levelname template did is provide an easy way to link to pages on levels, but now it doesn't even do that reliably. So we are getting rid of it as a precaution for the future.

Hello Tuck! As you may know, I am trying to eliminate the levelname template from the wiki. By my estimate, there are over 400 pages with the levelname template on it, so if you would help me in the mass elimination of it, I would appreciate it.
