Hey everyone!

As per forum title, we can finally implement a background/wiki-logo randomisation effect in the wiki. This script works when one refreshes a page or when one visits a new page. You can try it out by copying everything in this page and put it in your own JS page. I would also recommend adding the following to your CSS page:

@import "http://www.halopedian.com/index.php?title=User:Subtank/randomiser.css&action=raw&ctype=text/css";

*There's some calibration issues with the sitenotice when implemented with the header; essentially, sitenotice gives a different background in most cases

The only issue with this script is that it will take a fraction of a second to load up properly but this is simply a minor one and is expected. This script would essentially solve all issues with the wiki-logo and background header; we wouldn't need to have a community consensus for a change in the logo or header. Instead, this feature will encourage future additions to make the randomisation more diverse.

Hope y'all having a great weekend! — subtank 10:55, 27 May 2012 (EDT)

Special thanks to Noemon over at Dead Space Wiki. Couldn't achieve this without your knowledge on JQuery. :D

Did we add some custom backrounds to this? I'm getting ones that I've never seen before.-- KEEP IT CLEAN Comm Line Transmissions 11:08, 27 May 2012 (EDT)

The ones you might have not seen before would be from a header contest during the Halo 3: ODST launch (or was it during the Halo: Reach launch?). — subtank 11:13, 27 May 2012 (EDT)
Ah, I see. Nice!-- KEEP IT CLEAN Comm Line Transmissions 11:38, 27 May 2012 (EDT)

Damn, I had a long list of stuff I would love to see as a randomised header, but I can't find it. I'll try to think of some good ones today, but, you know, lectures'n'stuffz. Looking forward to other people's proposals!-- Specops306 Autocrat Qur'a 'Morhek 18:01, 27 May 2012 (EDT)
