Dear Halopedians, I am here to inform you today that our Halopedian of the Month award has been discontinued. Over the past few months, the project's activity has been at an all time low, and there seems to be little, if any, interest from the community anymore. The Administration felt the winner (and most of the time, sole candidate) didn't fully represent the views of Halopedia's wide base. Despite attempts to revive and give it energy, myself and the other admins felt it was best to just discontinue the project. Regards.--Spartacus TalkContribs 10:38, 27 February 2013 (EST)

I agree that it was having some lapses with activity, but it seems extreme to kill it. That that was a possibility could have least been mentioned. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 11:40, 27 February 2013 (EST)
I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, but I was noticing this myself. Col. Snipes450 12:12, 27 February 2013 (EST)
If that's the way it is, I can't disagree. I did notice low participation for the past couple months. Every month I tried to nominate someone I felt deserved the award and hoped that would catch other users attention (recent changes). Maybe this can be revived in the future if enough users show interest. Well at least I got an award before this came to be :).--Killamint [Comm|Files] 12:15, 27 February 2013 (EST)
It's a lot easier to decide on the Guardian of the Month just because it's been a lot of activity from a few people. Always use the DMR. This is craZboy557, signing off. 12:59, 27 February 2013 (EST)
