Global Warming!?[edit]
Is it global warming making the snow on the mount disappeared in Halo 3?
- Well, according to Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" global warming is melting all sorts of places, including Kilimanjaro, right now! So, probably. Specops306, Kora 'Morhek 20:54, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- I removed the global warming bit. Firstly, the snow will melt during summer regardless of anything, global warming just makes it melt faster than it accumulates snow during the winter, making the glaciers disappear. Secondly, according to the Old Mombasa backstory, global warming is already over on Earth by the 24th century. It seems that the global temperature drop caused snow to appear on Kilimanjaro, making the GWC possible. Mutoid Chief 17:05, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
