Harvest Insurrection?[edit]

I believe this was was spreed across all the outer colonies.

As far as is known, it was just in Epsilon Eridani during by 2525. It may have spread to a handful of other systems, but it certainly doesn't seem to have been widespread. The merciless Covenant onslaught likely forced people to remain loyal to the UNSC out of a need for survival, rather than independence. -- CoH|Councillor]] Specops306 - Kora 'Morhek 01:47, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

Insurrectionists in Halo Wars?[edit]

I've been playing the demo, and in skirmishes, bases controlled by neither side at the beginning appear to be occupied by another human faction. I'm guessing we'll find out exactly who they are in the campaign.--Darth Oblivion 01:19, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, they're Innies, apparently. --UNSC Trooper File:unsctrooper_small.jpg|14px]] TalkMy Work 08:06, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Title[edit]

I'm confused. Is this of the group called the Insurrectionists, or the civil war? The page states both, and I don't know which it actually is.   General5 7    talk    contribs    email

This article is about the civil war between a rebelling population and the UNSC (Hence, the Insurrection), and that those against the UNSC are called "Innies" or "Insurrectionists".(7alk) 03:31, January 9, 2010 (UTC)
Just figured that out. Before, I was thinking that they were an "organization" of some sort. >_<   General5 7    talk    contribs    email

Did it really end?[edit]

I'm not that sure if the insurrection thoroughly ended in 2537, or at any point after that. Sure, that's when the last known battle took place, but there were still insurrectionists after that, for instance, in Eridanus Secundus. And the Game Informer article on Reach reveals that insurrectionists were suspected for sabotaging a comm array as late as in 2552. As far as we know, the insurrection might still be going on in some form. It's hard to determine things like this, as the conflict isn't a full-fledged war like the Human-Covenant War. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 12:37, January 12, 2010 (UTC)

That's why 2537 is appended to have the last known incident involved in the Insurrection. It's tough to say when real-world civil wars end. For example, the American Civil War is over for a good portion of the American population, but there are still a few "hold outs." Does that mean the war still rages on? - Lord Hyren 03:52, February 17, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I wrote that back when it didn't say "last known operation". If we were to determine when the actual "war" itself ended, that would probably be about 2524, or before. The battles after that seem to be more or less separate incidents. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 07:43, March 16, 2010 (UTC)
