Uniform images[edit]

I'm going through some of my files and I have enough here to give document the uniforms worn by Corbulo cadets very comprehensively. I was just wondering if you guys think that the images should be separate and within a gallery, altogether as a "panorama/montage," or anything that you guys may suggest. Thanks! :) Grizzlei

Just for reference, I'd have the following images:
Standard white working uniform.
White working uniform w/pale brown features.
White working uniform w/combat armor.
Freshman olive green, Senior azure and Junior/Sophomore scarlet undershirts.
Cryostasis suit.
"Leisure uniform" (olive green undershirt + black trousers)
I don't see why not. A panorama would be better if it's more than six images.— subtank 13:37, 6 October 2012 (EDT)

Discipline[edit]

Is it me, or does Corbulo seem a little bit lenient with its cadets? Lasky wasn't discharged even though he was a open conscientious objector that probably was forced to join by his mother, Tchakova was able to hide behind her mothers rank (getting on a Wagon by intimidating a Marine for starters, who admittedly probably just panicked or something), Vickers is able to get away with physically abusing Lasky-and let's not even get started about the fight between Lasky and Vickers. Tex the Spartan.

Branch[edit]

From the article: "For first years, teaching was not geared towards a particular service, and even cadets who would become Naval officers (such as Thomas Lasky) would participate in extensive field and classroom exercises designed to teach ground combat tactics such as the pincer movement."

I've started to doubt this statement about the supposed all-inclusiveness of the school. From everything we see in the series (not the least of which is the aforementioned focus on ground tactics), it seems to me that the Academy is first and foremost a Marine establishment, geared specifically toward training ODST officers - in light of the ODSTs' prominent presence in the school's posters and video ads and the use of the Helljumper cadence, I don't think Cadmon's choice of career is a mere coincidence. In regard to the above statement, we don't know if Lasky was originally meant to become a Navy officer: this was only after Corbulo's destruction. It's relevant to note that all of the personnel of the school we see are ground force officers, including Lasky's mom - it's not far-fetched to assume that Col. Lasky would want her son to become a Marine as well. I also firmly recall CAMS being referred to as a Marine academy in one of the behind-the-scenes videos, though I'm not sure by whom - while statements by those not directly involved with writing could be considered questionable, in this case evidence seems to favor the idea that CAMS was a Marine-oriented school. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 02:21, 7 January 2014 (EST)
