Any idea what this means. I was confused too, when I read it.Vegerot (talk) 18:15, 2 March 2011 (EST)

Sorry. But 2 things. 1st; can you please answer my question. And 2nd; lol, I swore it would at LEAST be a day or 2 before anybody did anything. I really thought like, nobody watched these pages!Vegerot (talk) 19:12, 2 March 2011 (EST)(maybe "?" should become my new "!")????

I hardly see the need to post unneeded characters at the end of each of your posts, be it an exclamation or question mark. Its annoying and simply a sign of immaturity. - Nìcmávr (Tálk) 14:32, 3 March 2011 (EST)

Encyclopedia info[edit]

"The Forerunners rise as the preeminent species in the Milky Way Galaxy by advancing technological discoveries gathered from the remnants left by prior ancient races. Believing themselves responsible for the lives of all those less advanced then they, the Forerunners initiate the Mantle."

This information is questionable at best, given the way The Forerunner Saga establishes that the Forerunners had been in power for millions of years. It's possible that this marked a some kind of arbitrary milestone for them becoming the "preeminent species" in the galaxy (we know they'd had technological regressions in the past), but the stuff about not assuming the Mantle until now is hopelessly outdated. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 23:42, 29 September 2013 (EDT)
