Sanj'ik was a female Sangheili Weapons Master (engineer) who served during the final stages of the Harvest Campaign in 2531.[1] She upgraded a squadron of Type-26 "Banshee" GSAs with improved Fuel Rod Cannons that increased their lethality and rate of fire.

Sanj'ik is the first female Sangheili ever mentioned in the Halo universe, the only others being Han 'Chavamee, Raia 'Mdama and Elar 'Nas. She is also the only known Weapons Master.
