The UNSC of Halopedia is governed by a panel of five commanders.
At first, during its conception, the UNSCOH was governed by a General, a Lieutenant General, and a Colonel. Then, from June 2007 to October 20 2007, the command structure of the UNSCOH was changed as per the revised usergroup command amendment. There was one General that was officially in command of the UNSCOH, and four Colonels who commanded the companies.

Now the UNSCOH is lead by five Generals as per Manticore's proposal. Colonel is now an earned rank.

The commanders are entrusted with the following powers:
- Promoting or demoting UNSCOH members
- Changing the Article for Improvement
- Proposing policy changes

This is a list of former Generals of the UNSCOH.
- First Term (March 7 - March 30) - Spartytime
- Second Term (April 1 - May 29) - Spartytime
- Third Term (June 1 - July 30) - Blemo, then RelentlessRecusant
- Fourth Term (August 1 - September 29) - Ryanngreenday
- Fifth Term (September 30th to January 20th) - Ryangreenday, RelentlessRecusant, CommanderTony, Forgottenlord, and Simon rjh
- Sixth Term (January 21st to May 31st) - CommanderTony, ED, Ajax_013, Sgt.johnson, and Simon rjh.
- Seventh Term (June 1st to December 15th) - CommanderTony, Blemo, Manticore, Ryanngreenday, and Simon rjh. Sgt.johnson was a Commander for eight days before being replaced by General Manticore.
- Eighth Term (December 15th - April 20th) - CommanderTony, Ryanngreenday, and Spirit-of-HALO, as elected here.
- Ninth Term (April 20th - present) - Spirit-of-HALO, Ryangreenday, ONI recon 111
Former Commanders will revert to a rank according to their edit count at the end of their term.
