 No problem
I have no problem with it,infact I like it! Be reasonable,it shows that Master Chief can actually hold 2 small weapons.
You should be able to melee when duel wielding
As most of you might already know, there are two ways to drop your second diel dielded weapon: press "B" or "Y", I think that Bungie should use "Y" to drop your second weapon but use the "B" button to perform a melee, but a very slow, equally powerful as a single weapon melee What do you think??? --Ryan926 03:39, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
the MC would probably has no difficulty in melee in reality, it's just the game we are talking!ΜΆŜΤΈŖČΗέÏΣΡΈΤΤΥОΓΓïČëŗ 12:11, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
I think that it's quite realistic. The MC is a mechanized half-ton cybernetic supersoldier. Modern soldiers normally hold just a single weapon, even if it is an SMG or a pistol. The MC, however, has integrated amorphous circuits that can easily support 5-10 pounds worth of two M7 Caseless SMGs. :-)
If you are saying that he couldn't even melee with dual, the weapon may be almost half of his weight compare to what you are saying, and since that's an impossible speculation of mine, he could have melee with them freely, ΜΆŜΤΈŖČΗέÏΣΡΈΤΤΥОΓΓïČëŗ 11:39, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
I agree wit MCPO up there. I mean, it's realistic when you can't throw a grenade when dual-wielding, but as for melee, I don't see why he couldn't just swing them like clubs when someone gets close. I mean, whats better than 1 rifle butt? 2!
But in seriousness, if i think about it, by taking away both melee and grenades it sort of keeps it balanced for multiplayer, even if it does cut away from the realism.
On a different note, if it wasn't for the fact that it would be way to power-hoarding and powerful, I would say that they should make the shotguns dual-wieldable. The recoil can easily be squelched a little by MJOLNIR, and as for reloading, there's two options for that. Has anyone ever seen "Evolution" or "The Rundown"? If not, go rent it. I'm bad at explaining those things. Echelon3 12:12, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
